Update?

Because you have two to compare to each other, the most obvious sign is the difference in their wattles, those two sets of red fleshy things hanging under the jaw. I apologize for the non-scientific description but that's the easiest way to describe it if you don't know what 'wattles' are.

In any case, the light colored one has two outstanding sets while the darker chick has almost nothing to see under her jaw. In my experience males always develop those wattles much earlier than females and they are always much more pronounced. Most of my chicks have been mixed breed so for me the easiest way to sort male from female chicks is those jaw wattles. It gives the guys away every time!

I try not to compare them cause they are so different. Bocboc is

Update! We got eggs!!!
Sunday night I found and egg in their coop. Chickie was perched on it. Feeling both birds, Chickie feels like she has an egg waiting to come, but Bocboc was very squishy and felt no eggs.
Fast forward to today
Bocboc disappeared for about 30 min today so I went to her usual spot when I can't find her and took a video on the way for ChickenTenderKeisha snapchat. I was not expecting an egg. Just a cute Bocboc sleeping in my kids clean clothes.
The pictures of the nest is from Sunday and the video link I took about 10 min ago

Confirmed Bocboc is a girl. Chickie has never once jumped in th clothes, plus she's been sleeping on me for the last hour. This was all Bocboc!!!

I got the egg song about 20-30 min later after I put them both back in their coop. I almost burned the eggs I was cooking cause I ran to see who was singing, but I didn't make it in time.

The eggs are so small and cute. Broke my heart to break the egg. I decided to try the one laid on Sunday to see how it tasted compared to store bought. Definitely more delicious even though it was a one bite situation. Lol
