Does anyone know if this is a good camera: http://www.target.com/p/canon-power...nk=Utility_CC_112212_X2Y0|X2Y0&intc=X2Y0|null I know that the zoom isn't very good which I don't mind, but overall.

I don't think you can go wrong with a Canon. Or a Nikon. My favorite little camera I've had for 2 years and won't ever give up is a Panasonic zs or sz 7.

I just broke down and bought a Canon Rebel t2i. I also bought another lens separately, a 55-250. I bought them both used on Ebay, supposed to be in excellent condition. I hope they are because I got a good price. I love my DSLR I have now, but have realized that since I am the queen of cropping, I do need more megapixels. This has 18. Can't wait to get it!

I got some really good pics the other day by using a tripod, then setting the camera to wait 2 seconds so I could focus and take my hands off.

Kassaundra, about the macro I sold. I may just not be ready for a Macro. I think the pic is a higher quality with a macro. I'm still playing with my telephotos and getting awesome pics.

My camera came!!! So far I love love love it!! It takes good shots! And the zoom isn't that bad. It fits nicely in my small hands too.
