Hello Back Yard Chicken fans, I've been very busy working on trying to keep my chickens safe, had a raccoon kill one of my chickens not to long ago and now I've been
spending a lot of my time working on preventative maintenance. I've keeping them in a strong secured cage at night which has been working out great. I'm soon going to
be putting up electric wiring around the pen,til then I'm keeping them in the cage. Hopefully the wiring will take care of the coon problem, and any other critters that try to
cause get into my coop. unfortunately we haven't been able to trap the coon yet, hopefully some day soon. Til next time, Take care, Rose
