Who wants to talk about this to pass the time?

Who else right now is waiting on eggs to hatch??

I’m bored, I’ll go first!

I bought 12 California Valley eggs online, 7 are viable and clearly moving/alive so... also their air cells don’t look that fabulous but some look perfect. I know I know shipped eggs and all that... we take a risk. I’ll be happy to get just a few honestly at this point. I do not expect a great hatch rate like with my own eggs.

Anyway!

I know how you feel; we hatched eggs a couple weeks ago. I had a little countdown chart, and it seemed to take FOREVER!! 2/3 eggs hatched June 15 & 16. We hatched ours under a hen, though. Peaches,(Ameraucana) was still in the shell when mama sat too hard and squished her. We had to take her fully out, but it was quite the adventure!!

I got Ancona duck eggs hatching the weekend of the 21.

I'm waiting hehe I only put them in 2-3 days ago and feels like forever! Lol
6 lavender araucanas
6 white leghorn
And 6 Wyandotte australorp mixes
I'm hatching them in an electric frying pan!

Ik! I didn’t know if she’d be male or female (it’s hard to sex bantams apparently) and so I started calling her a He because I wanted a Bantam rooster, and I just called her bantam. And it stuck!i call her bant, Banty, Mama (she’s a crazy broody hen), or bantam.
