Who Here Thinks More About Poultry than about Smut?

Um, smut is a mold on corn, right?

How many of you have experienced the glassy eyed stare when you start ONCE again talking about your chickens antics?

At first my coworkers would rush up for my chicken reports, now I have noticed the tide has turned and I am getting glassy eyes and a bit of drool in response to my stories.

I can see myself as a newbie to chickens and not knowing the name of a breed, googling a description and searching images. Um, I have tried going to a well known sporting goods store by typing in what I thought was the website name.
Not a really good idea!

AND moodusnewchick did say they were trying to figure out IF they were offended. I respect that they were honest enough to admit they were thinking along those lines.
