Hi there I am currently living in South California but I am seriously thinking about relocating to Ogden...

How is Ogden to raise your kids? I have 2 ...12 and 5

What areas are good to raise chickens without complains?

Good for raising kids and better if you live on the east bench mountain side, north or south. Chickens are not allowed in the ogden city limits. I was just written up for having chickens. I have a file a hearing with the city but I doubt if they will give me permission even though I am in a semi remote area of the city and have 1 acre. Jobs are good in utah but they are not high wages. the governments pay more as is everywhere now. Don't buy a home here until you throughly check out all areas. a lot of homes on the market are not distressed and the owner don't care if they sell unless they get the high price they are asking. I perfer the south east area of ogden or better south ogden on the east side.

I personally wouldn't choose Ogden City.
