I agree. Barred rocks have yellow legs, and cuckoo marans have white/pink legs. I learned that my first day as a chickeneer, as the people we got our original chickens from had given me a cuckoo marans when I said I wanted a barred rock, and we found out when we got home that we had the wrong chicken and had to take her back. I was glad to take back that cuckoo marans anyway because she was a meanie.
