Who is laying this egg?

Can someone help me identify who is laying this egg? I know it’s one of the chickens pictured (minus the gray silkie) but I don’t know which one. They were bought as 1 Black Star, 1 Red Star, 1 Cinnamon Queen, and 1 Buff Orpington

well it is not the BO, or the cinnamon queen. I would not expect it to be the Red Star - so I am going with the black star?

Most of those are hybrids, which is kind of a glorified mutt, so their egg color might swing with a lot of variance. Have you gotten a lot of eggs with that color, day after day? Or just this one egg, which might be a fluke.

Consistent for about two weeks. These four birds are our new egg layers, I just wasn’t expecting a dark brown speckle egg! I like to know who’s laying what if at all possible.

That sounds most relaxing! But unfortunately my 5yo, 2yo, and 3mo old do not speak relaxing language.
