What an eventful egg week so far...
Sunday my lone turkey hen went broody, and we no longer have any roosters or toms.
yesterday mine and the neighborhood kids found a duck nest, my kid swears it was our duck, but our female died and the male just disappeared. (i have NEVER seen other ducks in our yard, and none of the neighbors have em). long story short, the kids scared the duck away, now my turkey is sat on the duck eggs.
what are the odds of that?
this morning i go out to collect the eggs, and i have a white egg in the nest box, i don't have any chickens that lay white eggs?!?
what gives??
