Who is my mum??

i currently own 8 chickens, all of different breeds. 1x buff orpington cockeral, 1x rhode island red, 1x french maran, 1x welsummer, 1x white leghorne, 1x bluebelle, 1x araucana and then one young cockeral that i hatched out myself that is a definate offspring from my buff orpington but i'm unsure who is the mother. i think the mother is probably the rhode island red however, it could be the marans or the bluebells. i narrowed it down to these three birds because they all lay similar colour eggs. i'd love to know!! The offspring whos name is Omelette has a creamy white feather colour, with black tail feathers and white legs. he also has a random red feather close to his tail that makes me think he's from the rhode island red.

Not sure. It would help if you posted a pic. You have to have posted at least ten times before you can post pictures, though, so you'll have to do that first.

ooooow this makes sense because i triedto post some pictures aswell but it obviously wouldn't allow me to.. After ive posted 10 ill try with the pics. thanks for the tip..

ive decided to see if i can create some cool new colours with the off spring.. omelette is pretty plain but hes got a big personality. i wonder if hes sex linked :S do u no if he is if his father is a buff orp, and his mother is possibly a RIR? THANKS AGAIN

From the pictures, that cockerel looks light than buff, so I'm thinking the mother would've been even lighter coloured. My first thoughts were the white leghorn, but you'd probably be able to tell by the egg color. I dont know much about bluebells or marans though. What color is your marans?

my maran is cuckoo coloured. and my bluebell is a sort of grey colour with brown eyes and grey legs
