Who is still waiting for their first egg?

Don't give up hope! I almost did my girls are 23 weeks today and finally this morning a small egg. It wasn't in the nest box but on the floor under the roost so I think it probably surprised my girl a little.

My girls are 15 weeks old this week. My SS & BO are starting to get some redder combs this week. I built their nesting box last night, so here's to hoping I get some eggs soon!

My RIR girls are 16 weeks so I think I will be waiting with the rest of you for a little while longer.

We left TX almost a week ago for TN. I lined them all up before we left and told them I expect eggs upon our return. So far no emails from the click-sitter so we'll see. They have never listened to me before so why start now, right?

I'm waiting (impatiently) for my first bantam egg. My little girls (silkies and d'uccle) are 21 and 22 weeks old and I can't wait to see their cute little eggs. Then I read on a thread that many silkies don't lay until past 6 months

. I sure hope they don't plan on waiting THAT long.

My girls hatched 3/23 and I got my first egg yesterday!!!! Well technically I got two but one had no shell ... I hear that's not abnormal so hoping my girl will have better luck with the next egg

Seriously... I bought two dozen eggs at the grocery on Saturday (there are only 2 of us here so way more than I'd normally buy but it was a good sale)...the girls started doing the squat on Sunday and got an Egg on Tuesday. Murphy's law... don't need eggs so I got one

I have two RIR that should be laying sometime soon. I am not sure of there age for I traded them for two of my BR pullets. after they start is a wait till late Sept or Oct for more eggs, but once they start it should be 3 or 4 a day here. I have two older ones that are laying at this time.

my EE is almost 17 weeks, no red comb yet. My GLW is 16 weeks and red head. My 2 white Cochins are 16 weeks as well... nothing yet. although they are in with my 8 others, so who really knows????? I would expect it to be really small and have not seen any yet. I am so excited to see my Americanas... I hope it green!!!!!!

I am , my girls are 16.5 weeks ! I cant wait !! Oh Barred Rock has red comb and wattles , and the Black Star is the same . The other 4 still pale.
