You might need a better image of your chick. I can't see any detail on it at all, sorry.

x2.Can you not take the bird out of the dark and from behind the wire?

I have a BR rooster with a EE hen and 2 Buff hen would anyone know who’s the mother of this baby chick here?
I have glasses AND I zoomed in on the picture, and I cannot see the comb clearly enough to tell what kind it is.Can you come get the bird out since you are so concerned or do you need glasses that you can’t see?
I'm thinking EE because there is no gold visible.Based off of the comb I am going to say the BO, but better pics would be great.

In that case, we'll have to wait for the OP to get better pictures.https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...s-in-first-post-before-adding-content.629715/
The first post in that thread shows chickens with a Barred Rock father and Buff Orpington mothers. They are all black/white barred, and I do not see any gold on them.
So I do not think we would see gold on the chick, even if it did have a Buff Orpington mother.
