On this hill I'm known to be "the unpredictable one" I do the sovereign citizen, Libertarian, primitive living, live in a 12 x20 cabin and curse the world loudly thing. No haircut in 20 years. You can often find me and my partner preserving small dead critters to sell. I'm adhd while not crazy does have me up at 2am researching different cacti and pacing very often and the urge to scream is real. I called the cops yesterday just to warn them that my neighbors were about to call the cops on me

How have you been?

Hi kiki! I’m doing good, super busy but glad I can take a few minutes every now and then to hop on here

Still no chickens. The election just happened in Nov. so the city councilor is supposed to reintroduce at some time early 2026. Hopefully. we better win.

So I just have the quail now, I hatched two bobwhite eggs I got for free- hoping it was a pair but they’re both males. Still strikingly beautiful although young.

I have a couple buttons (I lost a lot from raccoons) and a couple bobwhites, and a handful of coturnix, I hatched all of them.
In the spring I’ll start up again and hatch more.. none have been laying eggs for the last couple months.
I also have had 2 litters of kittens.. but now I’m left with just the mom and one of the beautiful babie’s she gave birth to. Although the mom hates her now so I don’t really know what to do , the mom won’t go inside if the child is in there…
Anyway, things stay interesting around here and keep me content, but I do miss my chickens ducks and turkeys.
