Who is this???

Another "rare and exotic" chicken from McMurray. The extras they send are usually roos so I gave all my obvious roos away thinking I'd keep this handsome guy. He/She/It is now 25 weeks old and no roo behavior, no crowing and none of that roo type activity that might lead to baby chicks in the spring. Can anyone tell me what breed it is and whether I should go out and get myself a new roo?

Splash Andalusian Hen.

I don't think McMurray sells California White Leghorns... but it would be too "Splash" for that anyway.

See, I originally thought she was an Andalusian but I couldn't account for the spots. She may be laying but I have no way of knowing which eggs are hers as we have about 11 girlies who have just reached maturity. Thanks so much for the help everyone.

Splash andalusian pullet. The "spots" are part of the splash coloration, which consists of two copies of the blue gene.
