Who is using a Dickey?

I have all but decided to buy a Dickey incubator rather than the Brinsea Octagon 40 that I had originally wanted now that the U.S. dollar/British pound exchange rate has gotten to where it is. So now I'm dithering over accessories.

Does anyone have the all acrylic door on their Dickey? The standard door comes with a window which from the photos seems sufficient, but I've read some folks who say it's hard to see everything that needs to be seen without opening the door. It's an extra $60 and I'm trying to decide if it's worth it or not.

I've pretty much decided to go with the electronic thermostat, but if anyone is sold on their wafer thermostat I'd like to hear from them.

The model I'm looking at is their 2x2 - two turning trays, two hatching trays. I don't envision ever needing more capacity than that.

Anyone have personal experiences they want to share?

    .....Alan.
