I was thinking about building a large incubator. Something like a 250 500 egg capacity. Probable 6 feet tall, 4 feet wide and 30 inches deep with a hatching area in the bottom.. I am interested in a electronic heat and humidity control. Anyone have any plans? Materials less the heater, fans and temp control are in the shop. What controls and fans should I use?

I built mine and have increased it's capacity as planned to about 200, I really like it and it works well although I have made a few upgrades as I knew from the start I may want to make a few changes, this progression worked well for me. Check it out on my homepage.

To be honest it worked just so-so for a year with a 2-3 pt or more at times temp range. I have since changed to a wafer thermostat that wires the exact same way and it is a night and day difference. The wafer holds temp's to within a .2-.3 degree range before cycling, so much better and the hatches are much more timely, IMO I just love the new wafer.
