Who knew they grew up to be CHICKENS!

It is by far one of the most amazing feelings. I love looking out the back door and see a big white horsey head looking over the privacy fence! "Hey! Cookie lady, Come feed me!"

The chickens are sure what to make of them yet, they stay inside the confinement of the privacy fence for now!

It's better to see a Yak with your chickens though.

- SO much more unique, plus they earn you so much more of a profit. . .

We have a yak with our chickens (soon to be 3)

You can eat Yak cant you? And they are hairy, so maybe some yak fur sweaters?

All I see when I think of yak is the one in the plane in the newest "Mummy" movie where he throws up all over the funny guy.

My own Yak is only a few months old, but you can eat them, milk them, use their wool, and use them as pack/pulling animals. Our bull will be a herd sire to a few heifers we're waiting on. The trio will be used for wool, and the offspring will be used for meat. We'll also be doing Watusi x Yak hybrids. (Watusi is a rare breed of cattle)

gray (or silver) dutch or maybe silver duckwing american or old english game for the "twins", dominique, austrolorpe, light brahma, and i don't know what the red one is, but maybe a crossbreed.
