Who laid the fairy eggs??

A chicken laid a fairy egg two days in a row and now laid more of a pullet sized egg. It the same color as my wellsummer’s, but she has also laid eggs on the same days..

The only birds I have that are ready to lay are my Salmon Faverolles - but I was expecting completely different egg colors... I also have a couple F2 Olive eggers who are 4 months old... are F2’s always green??

thoughts? Who laid these eggs??

Not fairy eggs, just pullet eggs.
New layers will have smaller eggs at first can take days, weeks, months before they get bigger.

or you may have to stalk the nests and catch them 'in the act' to know for sure.

I realize this thread is a few months old. I had a Brown Leghorn who was consistently laying fart eggs for awhile. She eventually got back into laying regular eggs.
