Who laid the speckled egg?

I have 2 buff Orpingtons, a lavender Orpington, blue splash maran and a green queen. Who laid the speckled egg?

Here's more eggs from my flock. My BO's are 6 years old so they're nearing retirement and have never laid speckled eggs before.

The way I understand it, any hen can lay an occasional speckled egg so if it's a one-off it could be any of your brown layers.

I have a French Cuckoo Marans who lays speckled eggs regularly and a couple other hens of different breeds who lay them occasionally.

Did she just both dark eggs and light eggs with speckles?

As far as I can remember, her eggs were a medium brown.
I used to have a white maran that laid the most beautiful eggs
I've ever seen. They were a medium brown with perfectly symetrical dots all around the egg, from top to bottom. Just like a Faberge egg. I always have regretted not photographing her eggs.

I agree, but mostly because obviously the green is the green queen, and the lighter brown are BO

Can Lavender Orpingtons can lay speckled eggs? If it's the maran then she's laying two different color eggs.

I get speckled eggs from my BR and my Welsummer. However, my good friend gets them from her Marans when they are later in their egg-laying cycle. I would bet the Splash.
