Who laid this egg?

We found an odd looking egg today in the chicken run. We have 3 GCs that lay regularly everyday and always lay in the box. We recently had a EE start laying and who has laid a small pinky cream egg. She followed the cues of the other GCs and always laid in the box so far. Today when i went to collect the eggs, the GCs had laid their usual three all together in the boxes, but there was no sign of the new layer EEs egg. Normally she always lays with their eggs in the boxes. When I went to check on them in run, I found the odd colored egg laying on ground near grass. Is there a chance that the EE laid the egg or should i be looking elsewhere? We also have another EE and 2 CMs that have not started laying yet. They do not even look ready to begin yet. Who laid this egg?

It would be the one in the middle, GCs lay brown so that is the top one and the bottom one is one of our EEs from another day.

It resembles the comets egg in size and shape more than the EE, it almost looks like the comet didn't put all the color on it, sorry it's been a few years since I had a comet, couldn't remember the shell color.

No worries. Our best guess was the EE because we did not find the usual egg with the others, but seemed unlikely since she has always laid where the others do, but theirs were all three in the nest boxes as usual so hard to believe one of them layed two.....but our others are not showing any signs of being close yet......we are so confused.

Sorry I don't seem to be much help, I do know the shape of each hens egg remains about the same, with the same inconsistencies and wrinkles.

For me it look like an old egg, or an an egg soiled with water and was out for a few days, maybe the hens or even a rat rolled it out to the run?

Its not old, we check the coop and run really good everyday in case the youngsters start and are confused. It was in the run during rainy weather that day though.

Yep that's the thing, i just gave assumptions on what might have happened to that egg... That egg was soiled with the rain water and out on the soil for a long period.... The shell kind of looses it's sheen and become really "off".... You'll know what i mean after you keep them long enough .... Anyways I wouldn't egg the egg because it tends to absorb the stuff that it was surrounded by while wet in the run.... Just in case...
