Wondering which one of my girls most likely laid this egg?? Attaching the egg and the girl who was sitting on it (it was warm, there was also a mint green colder egg under her which is the colour egg she’s supposed to lay… but it was cold and this one was warm). It’s possible she didn’t lay either egg and someone else did and she lay nothing and was just practicing lol, I’m not 100% sure she’s ever lay anything.
Anyway, she’s supposed to be a black silver Rudd. So eggs should be mint green. I did wonder if she was part ayam cemani because this farm I got her from also has ayam cemani. They also have a tonne of copper marans. So, is it likely it was her? And what breed do you think she is if so??
I also have a hen who was sniffing around the nesting box who I think is a Wyandotte ayam cemani mix, does she seem more likely?
Everyone else is either a silver Rudd or silver Rudd/cream legbar cross or a copper marans (I think at least one of the marans is mixed with something)
