Who Laid This?

Today(Saturday) I went out to collect eggs and found a strange looking egg that didn't look like it was laid by either our Wyandottes or Black Sex Links.

Our Wyandottes lay the top left egg and our Black Sex Links lay the darker egg on the top right.
Who laid the bottom egg?

Did one of our two Red Sex Links lay this?
If they did, it would the first of many from them.

In case you didn't read above photo, it's the bottom egg.

Thanks in advance!

How old are your sex links? Usually there’s some blood on first eggs, but it’s possible one of them laid it. My red sex link lays about that shade, and generally very large eggs.

When our other hens started laying, there was no blood at all on their first eggs.
Our 2 Red Sex Links are 4 months old. A few weeks ago they were exploring the nesting boxes so I know they were close to laying but didn't know when they would start laying.

Hmm, 4 months is kind of young for that large of an egg, but it could’ve happened. Unfortunately I think the only way you’re going to know 100% who laid it is to catch one of the hens in the act!
If the young ones were/are squatting for you that’s another good sign that they are ready to lay.

You mean the speckles?
Not unusual.
How old are birds and how long have they been laying?
Those look like pigment speckles.

'Speckled' eggs can happen for several different reasons...very few, if any, of which are a 'problem'.
Can be caused by:
Excess or uneven pigment coating.
Excess or uneven cuticle(bloom).
Excess calcium deposits.
Porous eggs can appear speckled.
Some birds lay them consistently, some only once in awhile.
The pigment or bloom can change appearance when wet, then change back when dry again.

As long as bird is getting a good diet and is healthy in every other way, it is no cause for concern.
