So the "Barred Rock" is actually a cuckoo Marans? That's a pretty chocolate egg!

Ohh, if you have some vaseline and food coloring, you can put a few drops of different food coloring into a small amount of Vaseline and lube up their vents with it.

Then, once they lay an egg it will have a ring of the food color around it and you’ll know who laid what egg.

What color are her feet? Cuckoo Marans have pinkish feet. Rocks have yellow feet.

I have a Maran, a Rock and Dominique. I did not know who was who and what was what until someone here told me to look at the feet!
