who lays dark brown/olive green?

I've been looking for some new hens to add to my flock and am thinking about some that lay a deep speckled brown egg color or an olive green.
What type of breeds lay these colors? Thanks!

For green you will need to get EEs or a cross of an EE with a dark brown egg layer. Black Copper Marans and Welsummers both lay very nice dark eggs and some are speckled. Hope this helps!

Starting at the top and going clockwise. Black Copper Maran, EE, Silver Phoenix, Barred Rock, RIR (I think), Welsummer, Welsummer and BCM.

To get olive eggs you need to cross a dark egg genes (Marans or Welsummer) with a bird carrying the blue gene (Ameraucana or EE).

I hatched some welsummers out of speckled eggs.
