I always pick up my chickens and like to bury my nose in their neck feathers. They smell really good... normally. If they don't, it's bath time!

I always smell my chickens. I love hugging and kissing them. They smell good. I use baby powder on them, baby wipes on their feet and good smelling cream on their combs and wattles. I might have the best smelling roos around.

I did that yesterday. Picked up my naughty rooster, held my hand over his head and buried my nose in the back of his neck and took a long sniff. He smelled of dirt, and a warm sunny day. Then I proceded to braid my goaties little beard. He was not amused... I know my neighbor thinks I need to be committed.

Never smelt my chickens I love holding them but was never tempted to smell them..LOL Now I am going to have to sniff them..LOL
