Actually, I have 6 white leghorn pullets and I can’t stand them. I’m actually thinking of selling them. They are 6 weeks old and TERRIFIED of me, no matter how much time I try and spend with them. They are sooooo flighty I can hardly handle them and a moment ago I almost lost my mind trying to transport them - they’re freaking out like they’re going to the slaughter, flying around the tote like psychopaths; spilling their food and water all over the place. I’ve never had chickens like this before and I’m at my wits end. Very frustrated right more.

my goal is to be over 300 chickens by spring and I’ll need another coop to do it.

I don’t know how I feel about LOVES leghorns. Some are pretty I guess but for the most part I can do without.

There is only one breed for me - the Leghorn in all of its varieties. Great egg layers, predator evasive, and incredibly easy on the eye.
