So, we're in the process of digging our pond for our ducks...Until it's finished we've been using a kiddie pool, that's sitting right next to where the pond is going. One day I was refilling the kiddie pool and forgot to turn off the water. The pond in progress filled with nice muddy water. They went crazy. They were having a blast. I say, who needs to finish the pond, we'll just fill it up with muddy water every so often.

Not really, but it'd be nice if the work was already done.

I just love our ducks. They're so funny to watch. The only thing I wish is that they were more friendly. You would think that since I hatched them and brooded them, they would have been more bonded to me, but not so luck.

Anyone else have some incomplete ponds or completed ponds? I love to see pics of other people's ponds.

tryed that LOL

I dug out a "naturalish pond with no lining for the ducks in their new pne, it worked for a while, but then, with the hot weather it became nothing but stinky yucky muck that they didn't touch, so I drained it, and redug it and now it's got a liner,BUT now I gotta deal with algea

I have a nice mud puddle in the back of my yard and the ducks LOVE it. DH is not happy because he wants grass there. So sad, too bad! Ducks need the mud more!

I was only kidding. I'm looking forward to having my finished pond looking nice. It'll be nice to see it and have the ducks enjoying it...make me feel like I'm living out in the country. (Wish I was!)
