Gets nose bleeds for basically no apparent reasons?!
I get them with the slightest bump, and mine bleed bad.
Its like I can reach up to itch my nose, and BAM! Nose bleed!

I hate them!

I don't, but I'm wondering if you have other problems such as easy bruising, or maybe slowness of wound healing? What about tooth decay? or even reddened lips? If you do, you may have a vitamin B12 deficiency.

Do you have allergies, like hay fever? that might make it easier for your nose to bleed.

Are you getting them everywhere, or in specific locations, like in your office, or your bedroom? Maybe the air is too dry.

Vitamin C deficiencies also can cause nosebleeds.

If you take a lot of aspirin, you can get a lot of nosebleeds.

You can also get them if you're sticking things in your nose

However, you may just need to have a capillary cauterized if it keeps happening.

Maybe you should talk to your doctor about it? If it's a mineral deficiency, that can be found through a bloodtest.

Hope you get to manage those nosebleeds better

citrusdreams,
I've never noticed bruising easily, and I think I heal fairly quick.
I don't have any allergies.
I get them everywhere.
I don't take a lot of aspirin.
I'm not sticking things in my nose

I think it might just be a vitamin deficiancy like you said.
I get them more in the dry seasons though.

Either have a bloodtest done or eat a bigger variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and try to round out your diet so that you get more nutrients. And/or take a good multivitamin. But it'll probably be easier to resolve your problem if you get the bloodtest and find out exactly what, and even if, you need to consume more of a particular nutrient.

If it happens more often when it's dry, you may be developing allergies. Or you may just need a humidifier.

Maybe you pick your nose too much.

I had that problem when I was young. Thank goodness I outgrew it. The doctor said it was just thin membranes in my nose and the dry air. I always had a humidifier in my bedroom.

Good luck and quit picking your nose!LOL

Have you looked into NeilMed Sinus Rinse? It's kind of a funky thing to get to, but I'm hooked on mine. I use mine for allergies/stuffiness, but I've heard other people say it helps decrease nosebleeds. It might be worth a shot....

Hi! Nosebleeds were a problem for me as a child --- just the slightest bonk *toward* my head and my nose would pour (I could hold my breath and put enough pressure to make a nose-bleed). They were bad enough when at 8 and 9 years old --- I had to beg to be allowed to stay at summer camp because the nose-bleeds freaked out the camp staff. I think that was when they peaked.
I'm 46 now and still have nosebleeds with little or no provocation, but that stands out in my mind. The doctors said it was thin membranes.
I was catching roosters the other day and got wing-slapped in the cheek --- instant nosebleed.
Good luck with yours. I hope it's just an inconvenience and not a health issue.

Yeah, count me in. Ever since I was a child. I can be sitting perfectly still, watching TV, or typing online, and BAM! Nosebleed! I used to just put a dixie cup under my nose & fill it up. Then when it gelatinized (clotted) I'd play with it. I know, yuck! I don't do that anymore. Now I just stick a clean Tampon up my nose. It works.
