Who saves feathers???

I keep the ones I think are really neat looking. We've used them to decorate 4-H tent with at Farm Fair. I know people who use guinea feathers for jewelry. I'm not that crafty

My DD and I save feathers. She makes jewelry ... necklaces and earrings.

I save feathers but for sentimental reasons

in particular, the big tail feathers, but only if they are perfect.

I'm not sure how many feathers it takes for a pillow. I'm hoping I'll have enough after a big molt or two.

Ok question.. Whick feathers do you save? The ones to clip off when you clip wings? Or if one falls out? Or when you cull? Or other?

I've been saving my Sammy's molted wing and tail feathers for years now. I have no idea what to do with them. I just put them in an old coffee mug and arrange it like a bouquet. They're just too pretty to throw out, especially his red and blue secondary wing feathers.
