I have another Cochin and it has all its feathers and no cone what so ever my New Hampshire i bought was soppost to be a pullet but wasnt which is fine just curious. !!

How can you all tell??? I'm still trying to figure out what my straight run are...and they are going on 8 weeks. :)

Is it a bantam or LF? I keep LFs, and its pretty easy to tell the cockerels from the pullets early on. I have had a couple fool me. I thought my favorite black hen was a rooster for the longest time. Anyway, I have pullets that are about 10 weeks old, and there isn't a hint of red in their combs and their wattles are pretty small. If I had to guess, I'd say boy as well- but I've been fooled before. Here's some pictures of a couple of my pullets. Good luck!

Im new to chickens whats a LF ? And isnt a bantam just a small breed of chicken ? I noticed also that roosters have a different looking eye maybe its just me but my New Hampsire roo has different looking eyes the the hampshire hens !!

LF stands for large fowl (aka regular full sized chicken). Bantams are sort of like a "toy" dog, smaller version of the breed. So you could have a LF cochin or a bantam cochin.

I was seeing signs that my Golden Laced Cochin Bantam is a Roo when he was between 2 and 3 weeks old. He is 5 weeks now (still super tiny) and he is starting to act like a Roo (according to friends who have had chickens for years). That point was driven home a little further today. I have raised him with 3 EE's that are 2 weeks older than he is and 4 other assorted chicks who are the same age as him. I too the EE ladies outside today and let them explore the yard with my 10 week old BR's and BO's. Oh, he was SOOOO distraught! He cried and cried, I think he was looking for "his girls." He's very noisy, I think he is constantly sounding the alarm for the other birds, lol!

ANYWAY, your boy looks like an older version of my little Roo only with silver lacing instead of gold. Really handsome! How old is he?

I need to update photos but here is my Roo at 3 weeks:
