*also..all my ducks run together..so the ducklings hatched will most likely be mixed breeds (but not always some may be pure Magpies....)...they'll ALL be cute though!

That is very sweet of you and if this was 3-4 months ago I would take you up on that but... My one duck is enough-what a beautiful gross slob:-) Love him at least I think its a him. Il post baby pictures and take some tomorrow-he's due for updates too. Ive been told it's a crested magpie and hes does look just like yours but yours has more black. He was supposed to be a chicken-I ordered chicken eggs not a duck surprise and when his beak popped out I couldnt get rid of him we all fell in love-lived in my tub for 2 months until I could figure out his new run and pool area..

he/she "Chuckie" is now 4 months old-no curled tails very verbal quacking but in a raspy voice Im still holding out for a girl but I guess after I post pictures ad updates tomorrow you be the judge!! Well theres my baby and thank you for giving me areason for showing him off:-)

Wow, really?? I would normally say absolutely not--I have plenty on my hands--but you have some of the genetics I want in my flock--I'm planning some blue runner/magpie crosses for next summer anyway, so it would sure be fun to get started now... oh, the agony of indecision! I don't really need to be incubating any more eggs... but if they're free, and they give me some of the genetics I want... and they *are* really, really cute... Aaaahhhhh...

Well, I can't ever remember how to post pics here. You can check out some of my recent duck pics on my blog, though:

http://heatherhead.wordpress.com

I am really good about keeping folks updated about their "babies" that are now in my care. The goats you see on my blog came from a lady about 2 1/2 hours from here, and I send her pictures of her cuties every few weeks. Your duck babies would go up on my blog, too, as well as pictures emailed to update you.

Let me see if I can figure out posting pics again, and I'll put something in here anyway, since that's the only thing you're asking (and what a reasonable request it is! lol).

That really is a very generous offer. I'm actually not 100% sure I am ready to accept the offer if I were to be chosen... but I wanted to go ahead and post something and then think on it some more... Oh, and just so you know, I've got eggs in the bator until Sept 7, so I wouldn't be able to incubate before then anyway...

Okay, let me give this more thought. What an awful addiction this duck thing is!!! LOL

Edited to add PICTURES:

They are of our latest hatchlings, Ron (yellow--mixed fawn & white/blue runner), Hermione (black runner--from a blue/blue mix), and Harry (silver runner, also from a blue/blue mix). Sadly, Harry died at about a week old of some sudden, unknown cause. The others are three weeks old, but they are never as cute as they are that first week. I don't have any pictures on this computer of my adult ducks, though I'm sure I've got some elsewhere. But these are the cutest pics I've got handy, so here they are.

I would so love to hatch some of your babies. I would definitely keep you posted of their progress if I were allowed to be their mommy. These guys are not very cuddly or playful.
