Who wants to play EE hen vs roo (again)?

Both are pullets.

I can see why Bunny may raise concern, but I have seen pullets very similar, and her colouring has no mahogany in the shoulders as a roo would.
yea but neither did my d'uccle cockerel and its why i thought he was a she till those sex feathers came in. he had the same coloring as this one does and why i am not throwing it out the window just yet

My roos always have the colour in the shoulders far before 11 weeks.

I have one six weeks that already has roo colouring.

I mean I wouldn't say 100% on her, but if her colouring stays just like that - I would say it's a girl. If it develops deep red in the shoulders, then it's a boy.

here he is in the very top left with the 3 other d'uccle (a millie as he is a blue millie and a golden neck along with my other breeds) as you can see his wings do not have that very deep coloring like the other 2 have

Couldn't be related to that comb could it?

Bunny is quite bearded.

I don't see thick legs on your bird, no comb. I don't know that mine ever had feathers like those in your closeup shot of her tail though.

I wouldn't sweat the dual color just yet. Buuuuttt, hdowden is FAR more experienced than I.

All girl, lays a blue to blue green egg.

I believe only time will tell I had a solid red roo that looked like bunny. He didn't have any dark points even his saddle feathers were "red orange" and laced with black. But he was bearded and muffed and had a single comb.
