Who will lay first?

I have two chickens who have squatted and are getting ready to lay eggs. One squatted around 2 weeks ago. The other I noticed squatting yesterday but we have been gone for a week so we don't know how long she has had that instinct. What I noticed from her is that she's become more vocal. Is that a sign she will lay sooner rather than later? Who do you think will lay first?

It’s nearly impossible to tell, esp without more details. How old is each bird and what are their breeds?

My pullets normally start squatting and about 2 weeks later they will lay their first egg. But each pullet is different and they love torturing us by making us wait.

I don't use squatting as a sign for laying because my birds never squat for me. I did notice a few of mine get very vocal when they start to lay though
