I am hatching chicks with the kids at the summer camp I'm working at and I need to find someone who will take them (preferably in MA) at the end of the summer, because I can't keep them. If anyone knows of farms or people that will take them, PLEASE let me know, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Maybe someone will post that wants them. I am a teacher and hatched eggs in my class, but I kept mine. [IMG] Make sure you know where they are going BEFORE you start incubating them, please. It is a super learning experience for the kids, but it's not fair to the animals not to go to a safe place.

    edited a spelling error!

Oh, I would take them if I lived up there!! But, I am sure there are many chick lovers where you are. This is a good place to post for them though and you have started early finding them a future home. [IMG]

Best wishes & have a happy summer! Chickens are a blast~~I've hardly met a kid who did not find them fascinating. [IMG]

I'm in Western MA and I would totally take them. I may or may not have room depending how my hatch goes in July, but my friends five minutes away would definitely want them. Do you know breeds at all? Where are you?
    Tx!

I am getting to know the different breeds! I currently have Barred Rocks and will hopefully be adding to them w/ other heavy breed chickens this year!
I live in Middleboro.. West of Plymouth, South of Taunton.
Do you know what you will be hatching?

I could possibly take a couple depending on what you have.

I just started another thread and made the same request before I saw this thread. Oops. [IMG]

Once ChicketyChick finds someone to take her chicks I would also like to find a home for 3-6 chicks that I plan on hatching for an educational project this summer. I live in Worcester, MA.

I don't know the breed(s) we will be hatching, but I am open to actually picking up someone's eggs, hatching them in our inclubator, then returning them. That way you would get the breed you are looking for!
