I had a chicken lay an egg just slightly bigger than that and I had to help her with it! LOL

OMG, I got TWO of those last wk from my Golden Comet pullets born 3/21/10. I couldn't even close the lid of the egg carton, I could have sworn it was gonna be triples but they were both only doubles.

I wish I knew how to post pics, I had an unusual egg yesterday, had a tiny tiny egg from a year old hen. I have the pics on my blackberry but not sure how to get them here.

I know sometimes the younguns have the big eggs but has anyone had a tiny egg before? I have only had chickens for a year.

Ok, so if you have an egg with a double yoke...and ....you let it hatch...do you get twins?

Usually 1 or both die when you do that but there are some videos on youtube were 2 babies came from one egg.
