We are deep in snow in No. Michigan....My "girls" still go out in our limited run (only what I have sholved) during the day if temps. are above freezing. I usually give them scraps or BOSS to feed on. (Food in the coop always) My question is it ok to mix up the BOSS with whole corn kernals? I just got a great deal on some corn, but its whole. Ok to use?

    Thanks as always,

    Marta

Any normal sized chicken, will have no problem eating shelled corn. Mine get it often.

It will be fine. My standards and bantams will eat it. They love their corn in any form: cracked, popped, on the cob, etc,.. Keep grit available for them. [IMG]
