Is it ok to feed my birds whole corn?
I am feeding them a mix of flock starter/laying pellets/gamebird feed/laying mash/fermented oat groats/ manna pro egg fortifier/ oyster shell(seperate) and occasionally the grit and I wondered about adding the whole corn (not chops). Thinking the corn could ferment too. Just wondering if it would be ok and making sure it wouldnt hurt em. I also feed greens & veggie/fruit scraps.

I always have a bowl of whole corn available, have for almost twenty years, right next to the layer and the all flock, I personally wouldn't ferment it, I would be afraid of mold, I also give mine scratch twice a day, and they free range, have not seen any problems in my flock, I'm going to keep on doing it, I personally don't buy into the feed only ration idea, but as I said mine free range, confined birds I think are different.

I wish I could let mine free range but I live in town and cant, thats why I want them to as much as I can give them

You can feed it whole, it doesn't have to be cracked. Just toss a handful on the ground, or offer in a dish.
