So I bought a whole rabbit from the local farmers market recently, and I have no clue how to prepare it. It is in the freezer right now, looks like it was skinned.
Is that how rabbits usually come?
What the heck should I do with it?

You can cut it up and use it just like chicken or roast it whole. I have also cooked mine in the pressure cooker.

I made a curry cajun dish with my rabbit and the family loved it.

Hate to say it but I really like rabbit flavor better than chicken! Very fine texture, mild taste.

Rabbit is awesome. we like it best cut up and grilled then basted with honey mustard as it is almost done.

My sons father lived in germany and he liked it whole stuffed with sausage & stuffing and baked.

I make rabbit stew with rabbits sometimes. I just boil it like you would a chicken, clean the meat off the carcass, and use the broth as my stew stock. You add what ever veggies you want and you will have a good stew.

Thanks all for the info!

I am not the one who normally does the cooking, and I wanted to suprise my hubby. But I don't want to screw this up! He has had rabbit a few times before, but only fried I think. I am trying to convince him that we should raise meat rabbits when we get a farm. A tasty meal would go a long way
