I just got a call from my new landlord saying they picked me to move into their rental.
I've mentioned it a few times on here but I currently live on property with another house on it... unfortunately the other house is rented by a single mom who is caught up in the drug scene. She constantly has people over at all hours of the night, is driving in and out. Leaves strangers at her house for hours who then come over to my house to borrow my phone because they have no car/ phone/job or anything. She leaves her kids with them and says she'll be right back and is gone for hours! (Yes CPS is involved now) Anyway, my landlord here went to give her notice a two months ago, she cried and he said he'd give her one more chance. Which she blew 10 days later so he then said he was giving her notice but that he would let her give notice ( so he wasnt in a feud with her??) So she did... but it was 60 days notice! I cant take another 60 days of her and her so called friends. They stole a 2 ton floor jack from me that was on my enclosed porch. And they have been looking in my second car when I'm not home.
I just don't feel safe anymore
Anyway, the new place sits by itself on 1.2 acres, its higher in the mountains so I have pine trees ( and more predators .. gotta tighten the hatches on the coop! ) And I have a garage.... which means I can get rid of my $100 a month storage unit! It's also $150 cheaper than I'm paying here! WHOOOHOOOO!!!
