I got my first egg last night. It was from my black sex-link. Then this mornign I went out to find that my EE had laid me a beautiful egg as well. YAYAYAY! I am over the moon!

Congragulation! I got my first egg yesterday afternoon from my 19wk old RHR also. She sure Bok Bok real loud with her announcement at the hen house door!

This has been so exciting. I have had 2 eggs everyday since. I am surprised because I thought we would start out slow. I think that maybe my EE are taking turns though because the blue eggs have stayed very tiny, but todays brown one is twice the size of the first brown. We also found the first nesting box egg also. the others have been on the floor of the coop.
