I have 5 standard chickens who have been together since I bought all five from a store. They are alittle over 1 year old. I have a rooster and 4 hens. A few weeks ago, I noticed one of my girls, serabi, was missing feathers on her head. I never see anyone attck her, but the hair isn't growing back, so someone has to be attacking her? I figured it may be another hen, but a couple days ago, I saw my rooster attack my girls away from the food. He hates me. We used to be good buddies, but that changed a few months ago. He will stalk me and wait until im not paying attention, and then he attacks. The other day they were locked up and one of my girls came to the gate at me and he attacked her away from me. I guess my question is he being overly aggressive to his ladies and should I remove him from them?

If your rooster is attacking you and your hens, I would not keep him. If you do not feel like you can cull him yourself, try to find someone who will take him, but with full disclosure that he is human aggressive. The first one is always rough, but I chose to cull our human aggressive rooster(he went after my husband and daughter) myself so I knew that he wouldn't hurt anyone else😞
