Cool. We built a new coop this year, and get our first chickens in a week & a half. I've taken photos as we went along, but am still not sure I know how to put together a Coop Article.

Guess I'll wing it.

Best to wait until coop is done and working well for a few months,
before making a coop article.

But definitely take lots of pics while building.

How cool! I've been working on mine for a few weeks now, had to clear an old shed and an unholy amount of english ivy first. Took pictures for every step though! It's the first time having chickens for me and I'm doing the whole thing myself! Dearest BF is not much of a handyman haha.
I'm hoping to be done in june, so if all goes well I'll be in time to enter! So fun!

Perfect timing! My original coop plan was going to be a DYI reno, but ended up unsalvagable. Got my hands on a substation fiberglass utility shed now. Just waiting for the snow to break.

I'm definitely going to enter once I'm done. I hope to have the hen house done by next weekend. Then I can start the run! I think the run will be far easier and faster.
