Look at it this way: NaNoWriMo isn't about writing something that's good and/or makes sense, it's about mass producing words. Just write whatever horrible story you can think of, and you'll be doing great.

Plot is unnecessary. Strong dialogue is a waste of time. All that matters is to write a lot. :p I love November.

That was inspiring! :old
Seriously.
lol, that is what I will be doing for the rest of the day. I give up on cohesion!
Be ready world, here comes the most nonsensical novel on earth.

:thumbsup That's the spirit.
My novel last year was unbelievably bad and random. To this day, I can't read through the first draft without cringing almost constantly. Strangely enough, I was eventually able to make it into a readable story. :p

Good to know I'm not the only one having trouble with this.

I was afraid of this.

I just passed 3,700. Not fantastic. Not bad, either, I suppose.

Thought I would pop on again, just a few more days left.

I will not be winning this year, unless somehow I learn to freeze time.
Shocking, eh?
But I have come farther than I have in the past and I plan to continue writing my novel although the way through.... Even though it's basically just a jumble of words. lol

So! How about the rest? Anyone make the mark?

:thumbsup I'm glad that you're sticking with your novel even if it won't be completed this month. That's the NaNoWriMo spirit.

I'm pretty close to finished now. A couple thousand more words to go, and then I'll be free again. Yay.
