Who's Going to the TN Valley Fair Sept 5-14?

Yes, he will get more spangling. That's why I wanted a more recent picture. He will continue to add spots as he grows up. From what I've read, they get their prettiest colors after they molt for the first time.
This little guy is 16 weeks old tomorrow.

He started off lighter than my other roo and with more white spangles than black. But I notice he's getting more black on him now. I'm the only one in my family that can tell TN & Sonny apart.

I hatched these birds from Peeps7's eggs. Here's a link to Coty's web site with pics of the parent birds:

Do you want to give this little guy a home?

Woops, sorry I didn't write back sooner --

I'm thinking of a new scheme now. I'm thinking I may order some blue mille fleur d'Uccles in the spring. Although they are "blue", they would actually be a mix of blue, black (normal) and splash mille fleur. So I think I'll hold off on getting a cockerel for now, because if I do get chicks there's sure to be roos in the mix.

Thanks for the pics, though. He is quite a handsome fella!

Thanks, Smitty! They are real sweeities, too. Even Sonny seems more affectionate now that he's home from the fair. And Boo let youngest DD pick him up yesterday and cuddle him

TN is still my fave, though, of the roos.

Amazon, I understand completely. Millies only come straight run anywhere I've seen them listed as chicks. I'll post Sonny on BYC. I hope I can find him a good home.
A co-worker's farm is always an option, but he'd be potential coyote bait since the roos free-range there to keep the penned hens safer. I'd rather avoid that since this is a pampered little boy. Of course, since he's pretty he might get preferential treatment...
