Who's louder?

Are standard hens louder then bantam hens? I would think so, but bantam ducks seem louder then standard ducks lol.

ducks are loud, period!!! Can't stand those things!!!! LOL!!!! I don't know if they're louder, mine aren't old enough yet...hopefully someone else will know!!! Sorry!

Our bantam hens could break the sound barrier if you try to pick them up, our standard girls are totally quiet

I was thinking bantam hens would be louder since thier alot more timid and flighty, rather then the laid back standard hens. If thats correct i think im going to get some standard hens.

My bantam hen hardly makes a peep. Maybe it just depends on their personalities though. My dad's standard hens are so loud if you try to touch 'em.

I have a mixture of both and I think it depends on breed. Both Bantam and standard Brahmas or Cochins are pretty quiet. Silkies are pretty quiet. But leghorn can be very loud.

I think it depends on breed and the birds dispostion(sp?)

Our are Cochin mixes and they are still loud.
