Who's setting with me Sept 1st-4th?

Well my replacement eggs arrived today. Air sacs are of the following, 1 ruptured, 2 in tact, 10 dislocated. That is much better than last time which had 8 ruptured. Hopefully these develope well, and hopefully I will have a single silver laced chick on wednesday from the first batch.

Oh no.:(

I never had a ruptured egg that was shipped. How are they packing the eggs? I am so sorry.:(

The packaging seemed really good. Each egg was wrapped individually with bubble wrap and then all of them were wrapped together in bubble wrap, and then there was news paper surrounding the mass of bubble wrap. Many of the eggs also came with poop on them, but hopefully that won't affect anything, I'm tempted to wash some of them like I usually do, but being that they were shipped, I feel I should leave them. I hopeing that many of the loose or dislocated air sacs will manage to reattach before I set them tomorrow, there is not much hope for eggs with ruptured air sacs.

I have found in the past that with dislocated air cells, if you let them sit with pointy end down for about 24-36 hours before putting in the incubator, they can still have an excellent chance of hatching out perfectly fine. Good luck with your new batch of eggs, I hope you have a great hatch this time.

That's wonderful!!

How's the double yolker doing?
not sure, candled it last night and only saw one baby moving... But we will see, It's in lockdown now!

I have 4 pips and 1 peeping baby I can't wait to snuggle, Peepers (proper name will be given when I know for sure the chick is a girl....) is wanting out haha I told him/her that they needed to stay in their "Crib basket" until his/her sisters/brothers hatch and dry! This chick is such a cutie a perks up when I go to talk to him/her!

I have some eggs setting on the table that I've been thinking about incubating next, what do you guys think? How many of y'all are going to incubate a new brood? I think I'd like to join y'all again ;)

Urgent Guys! I have another chicky that just hatched but his butt is stuck in the shell, I have 3 other pips, the humidity is 68%. Is it ok to grab him and get the shell off his butt or should I wait a bit longer and see if he will get it off himself? He sounds so pitiful but i won't put the other 3 at risk if he is ok to stick it out with his butt (literally) stuck in his shell?
