Who's up late baking?

I made the mistake of cleaning the kitchen this afternoon before baking.

It's pouring with rain here and my barn roof needs repairing. So tomorrow I shall be cleaning out soaking wet shavings so my calves don't get pneumonia

I am SO with you all. I have an entire pan of caramels to cut and wrap. OOOODles of cooking to do for tomorrow. DS seems to have the flu. And I am here on BYC sitting. I did clean every surface that would stand still today. But still so much to do. Good luck with those gingerbread houses. My daughter used the last of the ribbon for our egg ornaments to decorate her cards today. That is one craft that won't be getting done it looks like. HAVE to go to bed now. All the treats sound awesome!

Come to think of it my husband made no attempt to wrap my cow.

I am here with ya....I just took 2 Pumpkin loaves and 2 Vanilla pound cakes out of the oven...I have pumpkin pies and applesauce cakes to go in yet oh and my dark chocolate oatmeal cookies.


LOL Hound my DH made no attempt to wrap the horse either... hahahaha

Yep I got a real life cow for Christmas! Her name is Bluebell and her milk is delicious. I got her about 10 days ago, thankfully she's already filled out.

I'm hoping I can start making cheese in the new year so I can give baskets of home made dairy products next year, maybe with some goats' milk toiletries.

We need horse pics!!

Here is my Arabian mare that was too big to wrap as well...she arrived from Wiconsin the beginning of the month. My daughter's first time walking a horse and Joleta was patient and gentle with the first timer mistakes.
