Who's watching Comanche Moon?

Are there any other Lonesome Dove fans besides me? I just read the book to Comanche Moon a year ago, I said then to my DH that they needed to make it into a mini....and then.... they did! And they have followed the book quite closely, some things are even verbatim!!! So far, I'm loving it!!!

YES. Loved Lonesome Dove, and this one is really good so far. Never read the book.

I watched sunday and wasn't overly thrilled, it it really hard to top Lonesome Dove with DeNiro and Tommy Lee Jones! I really liked Val Kilmers character alot. I will probably watch tonights 2nd episode tho. It comes on CBS and I think at 9:00 pm EST.

Tommy Lee Jones was wonderful in the original Lonesone Dove. I loved the series too.
I missed the first episode of Comanche Moon! YIKS.....I will be watching and or taping the rest!

Thanks I made a mistake-Duvall-DeNiro I get them confused! Scull's wife is a character tho lol.

The original Lonesome Dove can not be beat! It is my favorite movie of all time. When they did the second one with Jon Voight as Captain Call well I thought I'd let it slide but then they did a third with James Garner as Captain Call and enough was enough. Now they have done a fourth one and in my opinion it is not the greatest. I will watch it though to see the different twist on the story.
