Not that I know of they free-range over an acre I just noticed this hens neck she's been in the house because she was coughing her sister just died yesterday she was very skinny this hen is nice and chunky they were both eating but coughing and wheezing in the chest I don't know I have something going through my Coupe I purchase birds from over easy Ranch and I am just at a loss at what's happening

Hmm. Do any of the other birds have lumps or sores anywhere on them? It isn't pox, I can tell you that much.

Is that lump hard or squishy feeling inside when you push on it? Any other abnormal symptoms or observations you could share?

Hi @Cherry girl :frow Welcome To BYC

I'm sorry to hear that you lost one of your chickens.

How old is this one that has the lump?
How long have you had her?

Not sure what the lump is, if she has been free ranging, then it could be a small wound from getting into briars or even from a peck to the side of the neck.
For now, I would apply a triple antibiotic ointment on it and watch it for a couple of days to see if it starts to heal/shrink or gets bigger/worsens.

You mention that she is coughing and wheezing too? This sounds like a respiratory illness - Mycoplasma, ILT, Infectious Bronchitis and Infectious Coryza are a few more common illnesses that chickens have.
If symptoms worsen, then seeking vet care is your best option. Antibiotics can help with secondary infection, but won't cure any of the diseases. Birds that recover and those exposed would be considered carriers.

Yes we are keeping it clean keeping Salve on it I'm also using the vetericyn vet strength product it's amazing and mannatech to get their immune systems built up she's not coughing and wheezing she sneezed once or twice this morning that's all her poop is great no runny her sister that died. that was another story I don't know what the heck I think I have some carriers and others that are just not strong enough and they dying

It's good that she's not coughing and wheezing, I misunderstood.
I would keep watch on the sore for several days, hopefully it's just injury and heals up with no further complications.

I'm sorry that you have an illness that seems to be running through your flock though. If you want to find out what it is, ask your state lab how to get testing. http://www.metzerfarms.com/PoultryLabs.cfm

I just noticed this a couple of days ago so I feel like it's a relatively new she was coughing and is still wheezing a little bit my main bird that I believe brought this in her eye is gone down and she's not coughing and wheezing I believe she's the carrier she actually laid an egg first one believe she's a year old these other birds are under a year 6 months got them at Tractor Supply I know they were healthy I put up two more pictures of it I will call the extension office and have my bird checked spent a hundred and sixty on my little white hen that passed away the vet never said she had anything just gave me the medicine vetericyn for her eye and gave her a shot and she passed away the next day she was just too weak

So this is the most recent photo of the sore on her neck?
