To me, it looks like that is just the color pigment due to breed.

It doesn't look like there is a head of any sort in the lesion poor thing it doesn't look comfor

Is that lump hard or squishy feeling inside when you push on it?

This would be good to know.

The colour pigment is more red than purple. I wonder if it is the lighting then. I was just basing it off of my Naked Neck-Turken rooster

Coloring can vary, to me I don't see anything concerning about it.

I am not sure if that might be a wound or a hemangioma (birthmark of blood vessels,) or what. In the second picture, it looks a bit more like tumor that has been pecked and is scabbing. I would watch it for a few days, using the plain antibiotic ointment twice daily.

Good morning Saugerties growth on her neck is gotten bigger it's kind of hard doesn't move and it's just like a big something stuck in her neck the scab came off I'm putting the vetericyn on it just weird
